Evaluation of the narrow-band random normal process center frequency in the presence of colored additive noise
A methodology for maximum likelihood estimates of the Doppler signal center frequency in the presence of additive colored noise is developed. It is shown that the pre-filtering of white noise in the band greater than the width of the spectrum of the Doppler signal three times reduces the error estimates by 3-10 times.
