Study of ways to obtain maximum likelihood estimates of laser Doppler anemometer signal frequency
The derivation of the likelihood equation for optimal accuracy estimates of laser Doppler anemometer signal parameters is shown. Ways to obtain appropriate estimates of Doppler frequency and the results of model tests that characterize the quality of the resulting estimates are presented.
