The work is devoted to calculation of the light scattering particles in MathCad. In the theoretical part describes the physical meaning of light scattering optically homogeneous spherical particles; the main regularities of mie scattering in the case of illumination of a particle in one beam of light; describes the features of Rayleigh scattering; comparative analysis of the Rayleigh scattering and scattering using mie theory.
