The fiber-optical laser anemometer is used for 2D higher order statistical characteristics of turbulence. Results of measurements in turbulent round submerged water jet are presented at Reynolds's moderate numbers. The method allows revealing areas of a flow in which the statistics of turbulent pulsations deviates from the normal law.
