The principles of multicolor particle image velocimetry (Color PIV), based on the simultaneous illumination of the test flow with laser planes of different colors are presented. This method allows to obtain the distribution of spray flow velocity in three parallel planes, spaced apart by a distance of 0,015 m. It allows received a 3D image stream by application of interpolation and extrapolation methods.
