Temperature measurements in flame by planar optical techniques

The present work is focused on the measurements of temperature in the swirling propane-air burner by using OH*-PLIF and planar Rayleigh scattering (based on data from Raman scattering) techniques. OH radicals was excited in the (v' = 1 ← v'' = 0) band of the A-X electronic system at wavelength 283.55 nm and spectrally resolved detected in the (0,0) and (1,1) vibrational bands around 305 - 320 nm.
