Visualization of water droplet crystallization by FTIR of wide collimated laser beam
The paper describes the application of the frustrated total internal reflection (FTIR) method for visualization and research the crystallization of thin (few hundreds nanometers) boundary layer of liquid films between horizontal surfaces of a glass prism and Peltier element. The description of the experimental setup for this experiments is given. Experimental results and discussion are shown.
