Self rotation of dust particles in the plasma flow in a magnetic field
Dust particle in low-temperature plasma has its own rotation under the influence of uncompensated plasma streams flowing on its surface. In the paper a magnetic field is applied to control the plasma flows. We used both spherical and non-spherical particles. Several effects, in particular the threshold effect of a rotation under the influence of a magnetic field, the phenomenon of hysteresis in the dependence of the frequency of rotation of the particle from its own magnetic field was studied. Qualitative interpretation was given for observed effects.
