New method to solve the spectral extinction inverse problem is studied and results are presented. The work is carried out through the computer simulation of the extinction data for the predefined particle size distribution followed by the data processing. Computational problems are found and possible solutions are discussed. Limitations of the method and developed code as well as ambiguities are quantified.
