Diagnostics of micro – droplet flows and ultra disperse particles formed from them
Possibilities and restrictions of both optical and non optical methods of droplet phase diagnostics in gas-droplet flows are discussed in the report. It is shown that distribution functions of droplets and their mean diameter can be obtained with the help of measurements of ultra disperse particles, formed from micro-droplet flows after droplets evaporation. Examples of producing and research of gas-droplet flow for space and biomedical applications are given.
