Visualization of the gas flow in the nozzle with the help of thermal imaging equipment

The paper describes a way to visualize the picture of a supersonic flow in the nozzle with a thermal imaging system to modify the surface temperature due to heat exchange with the gas flow. The registration of radiation was carried out using short-wave imaging system AGA-782, working in the measuring range of wavelengths δλ=2,0-of 5.6 microns. To increase contrast radiation is considered the possibility of additional supply or dissipation of heat from the surface, which will be more informative to carry out visualization of the gas flow on thermal imaging.
