Simultaneous PIV and gradient heat flux measurement for fluid dynamic and heat transfer research of a circular cylinder in cross-flow

Fluid dynamic and heat transfer are important for new heat exchangers design. In thу present paper the simultaneous heat flux and flow velocity measurement are shown. The measurement done with gradient heat flux sensors and PIV (Particle Image Velocimetry) method. New data for cylinder with turbulent promoters are presented.
