Anomalies of optical properties of nonlinear barium sodium niobate crystal

In the present work has been presented the investigation of the temperature behavior of technological importance nonlinear crystal of barium sodium niobate by means 90°- scattering of light in wide range of temperature (20-700°C). It was observed the deflection of laser beam passing through the crystal with neodymium impurity. The effect has observed at the beam direction perpendicular to optical c-axis of crystal and polarization parallel to this one. Beam fanning has disappeared above of 500°C.
