Measuring surface distribution of narrowband radiation wavelength by colorimetric method

We propose a method to measure narrowband radiation wavelength having a digital picture of the emitting surface. The camera used to take the picture should be calibrated in advance by a certain procedure including taking a picture of continuous spectrum. The precision of the wavelength determination is better then 1 nm. The method was tested with pictures of Hg spectrum and the continuous spectrum of the filament lamp. The degree of homogeneity of holographic sensor swelling was studied by the method in the stationary case as well as in dynamics.
