Optimization of measurement procedure of AOTF-based spectrometers used for environment monitoring

There is considered problem of optimization (speed-up) of measurement procedure used for random-spectral-access spectrometers (like those based on acousto-optical tunable filters (AOTF)). An adaptive algorithm is developed, which uses real-time data for optimization. It is demonstrated that this approach is reasonable as it gives advantage over classical techniques. Principle model of optimum algorithm is implemented for some working instruments.
