Development and approval of spectral analysis phase-differential method when measuring frequency and damping of modeled and real-life LDA-signals

The paper continues the research [1, 2] in the field of spectral estimation of LDA-signal parameters. The phase-differential method for frequency estimation proposed in [2] is further developed towards assessing the damping of a filtered single-particle LDA-signal modeled as a sinusoid with a Gaussian envelope. The method is approved on the basis of experimental material given in [1]. Errors are evaluated by comparing the calculated and assigned parameters of the signal’s mathematical model and using the value of the processed results spread.
